First Hawaiian Bank Officer Promotions

(Honolulu, Hawaii, May 24, 2004) – First Hawaiian Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter A. Dods, Jr. announced the officer promotions of:

  • Patricia R. Wakilina to assistant vice president and service manager, Hilo Branch.  Wakilina joined First Hawaiian in 1971 as a proof operator and has held positions as teller, teller trainer, head teller, assistant operations supervisor, service supervisor and service manager. Wakilina is a graduate of Leilehua High School.
  • Margaret J. N. Heine to service manager, Kona Branch. Heine joined First Hawaiian in 1987 as a teller. She was promoted to head teller in 1989, assistant service supervisor in 1992, service supervisor in 1994 and service manager in 2000. She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and earned a bachelor’s degree from Chaminade University.
  • Shari Minato to operations manager, Money Processing Center. Minato joined First Hawaiian in 1981 as a teller and has held positions as teller trainer, assistant service supervisor, assistant service manager and service manager. She is a graduate of Kaiser High School.
