FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK ANNOUNCES TWO PROMOTIONS
HONOLULU, February 3, 2021 – Today, First Hawaiian Bank announced the advancement of two individuals. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison is pleased to congratulate the following bank officers on their hard work and well-deserved promotions:
- Clyde Nakaya, vice president and team leader in the Commercial Banking Group. First Hawaiian Bank has named Clyde Nakaya vice president and team leader in the Commercial Banking Group. With over 30 years of financial services experience, Nakaya will lead the Bank’s commercial banking team on Kauai to help customers evaluate their business operations and provide them with solutions to achieve their financial goals. He first joined First Hawaiian in 1991, as assistant branch manager in the Main branch and later returned to First Hawaiian in 2016 as assistant vice president and business banking officer.
- Laurie Correa, Waiakea Banking Center manager. First Hawaiian Bank has named Laurie Correa the Waiakea Banking Center manager. Correa has extensive residential lending and business banking experience and is responsible for overseeing branch operations. Her team of bankers will assist business and consumer customers with providing personalized financial solutions. Correa previously served as a business banking associate, personal banking officer, and most recently, a personal banker at First Hawaiian’s Waiakea Banking Center.
