Customizing Transaction Categories

The FHB Mobile app will automatically categorize your transactions with the most likely category whenever possible. However, you can make adjustments to your transaction categories at any time. 

  1. Tap the transaction that you want to update
  2. Tap the Category field
  3. Search for the most appropriate category for your transaction
  4. Use the search bar at the top of the screen 
  5. Scroll through the list of categories and tap the + to view available sub-categories
  6. Tap the new category
  7. Choose if you want to apply the change This Time Only for the single transaction or if you want to Apply to All transactions from that merchant.

NOTE: If you select an incorrect category by accident. You can return to that transaction and follow the same steps to update the transaction with the correct category.

 

If you do not see a category or subcategory that meets your needs, you can Add a New Subcategory at any time.
