First Hawaiian Bank Announces Three Promotions
HONOLULU, January 31, 2022 – Today, First Hawaiian Bank announced the advancement of three individuals. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison is pleased to congratulate the following bank officers on their hard work and well-deserved promotions:
Shari Minato, Senior Vice President and Service Delivery Division Manager. First Hawaiian Bank has promoted Shari Minato to senior vice president and Service Delivery Division manager. She is responsible for overseeing branch operations, compliance requirements, staffing and compensation, manager training and call support. Minato also serves as the liaison between the branches, administration and operations support for process improvements and policy changes. She has held several positions and was most recently vice president and disaster recovery manager.
Natalie Werts, Vice President and Area Manager, Mililani Banking Center. Natalie Werts has been promoted to vice president and area manager at First Hawaiian Bank’s Mililani Banking Center. She is responsible for managing branch operations, customer experience, business growth and talent development for the Mililani, Haleiwa and Kahuku markets. Werts is a graduate of First Hawaiian Bank’s Emerging Leaders Program. She previously served as FHB’s sales manager of the Training Department and Pearl City Branch manager.
Ernest Magaoay, Vice President and Area Manager, Waipahu Banking Center. First Hawaiian Bank has promoted Ernest Magaoay to vice president and area manager, Waipahu Banking Center. He is responsible for managing his team of bankers to help clients find their ideal banking solutions for the Waipahu, Pearl City and Wahiawa markets. Magaoay has 30 years of financial services experience in commercial, mortgage and SBA lending. A graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School, he was previously branch manager at the bank’s Lanai, Sand Island and Kapolei Branches.
