Alerts & Notifications

Stay on top of your finances with FHB’s online and mobile banking alerts

Security and convenience 

Mobile push notifications, SMS[[#1]] text and email alerts[[#2]] are easy ways to be notified when your accounts have reached a certain balance or when transactions such as large purchases occur on your accounts.

How to set up alerts

    FHB Online Banking
    1. Once logged in, click on Services
    2. Click Alerts
    3. Click on “+ Alerts” button
    4. Select the desired alert
    5. Create and configure alert as needed
    6. Select your alert delivery method
    7. Click Create Alert
       
    FHB Mobile App
    1. Log into the FHB Mobile App
    2. Tap on the menu in the top right hand corner
    3. Tap on "Settings"
    4. Tap on "SMS & Email Notifications"
    5. Tap on “+ Alerts”
    6. Create and edit alerts as needed
       
    FHB Online Banking
    1. Click on Manage Your Finances
    2. Click on the gear icon
    3. You can also enable Push Notifications (the FHB Mobile app is required)
    4. Turn on the type of alert(s) you want to receive
      NOTE: The slider next to the alert will have a check mark if it is enabled
    5. To customize the alerts click the “Edit” option
    6. Select the type of notification you’d like to receive
    7. Select the accounts you want to be notified about
    8. To edit the dollar thresholds, for notifications like Low Balance Alert, click on the dollar amount to edit
    FHB Mobile App
    1. Go to the Menu
    2. Tap Settings
    3. Tap Push Notifications
    4. Turn on the type of alert(s) you want to receive
    5. To customize the alerts click the “Edit” option
    6. Select the accounts you want to be notified about
    7. To edit the dollar thresholds, for notifications like Low Balance Alert, click on the dollar amount to edit  
       
    1. Log into the FHB Mobile App
    2. Select a credit card or checking account linked to a debit card, and tap "Account Details"
    3. Tap "Manage Card Alerts"[[#3]]
    4. Tap "Contact Information" and review current phone number and email address
    5. For SMS alert, select the mobile number for delivery and tap "Verify"
    6. Select an alert category to display available alert types
    7. Tap the email or SMS icons to manage each alert. Expand the alert type tab to customize selections.
    8. Tap "Save"

    Notification Timing

    • Card Alerts - If you enabled card alerts for your credit and debit cards in the FHB Mobile app, alerts will be sent out shortly after the action has occurred.
    • Standard Alerts - Typically sent out once a day

      3. Click on "Alerts"
      4. Click on “Edit Delivery Preferences” under the Security Alerts section
      5. Update the SMS, email or phone number where you would like to receive security alerts
      6. Click "Save"
